Great to meet you!

I am a bilingual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 8 years of experience helping adolescents and adults manage and foster positive change through the lens of psychology. Driven by a genuine desire to make a difference, I am dedicated to helping individuals navigate the complexities of their lives, fostering growth, resilience, and meaningful connections. I hold a master's degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy and Health Psychology from Santa Clara University.

In my journey as a therapist I have had the privilege of working with individuals across all life stages—youth, adults, and the elderly—guiding them through life transitions, relationship challenges, and mental health conditions. My diverse experience in community settings has enriched my ability to connect with clients from all walks of life, ensuring that I offer a compassionate and personalized approach that meets each person where they are. I am committed to providing a safe and supportive space for healing, growth, and self-discovery.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is a harmonious blend of evidence-based modalities, including CBT, EFT, ACT, Person-Centered, and Narrative Therapies. This unique fusion allows me to offer a comprehensive and tailored perspective to those I serve.

My passion lies in the realm of psychotherapy for helping individuals going through life transitions, relationship obstacles, and difficulties managing symptoms of depression, anxiety, grief, and OCD, amongst other mental health conditions. I also work with PTSD and would like to help individuals overcome trauma. Trauma comes in many ways, shapes and forms, and it should all be acknowledged.

What you can expect from me

In our first session together, we will start with brief introductions before diving into the specific challenges you may be facing. This will help us create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions. As a person-centered therapist who integrates evidenced-based modalities to address clients' distress, allowing clients to set their own goals is by far the most important factor dictating clients' success.

As we move forward and dive deeper into the journey of psychotherapy, you will find that I bring a balance of warmth, humor, and unconditional acceptance. Simultaneously, I will carefully guide you to explore the underlying patterns of your thinking, feelings, and behaviors to help you gain meaningful understanding as you move toward a more authentic and self-actualized version of yourself.
