Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Jose Martinez, LMFT. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, mood concerns, substance use, and the stress that comes with everyday life. I support people through both difficult moments and longer-term challenges, with a focus on building coping skills, insight, and meaningful, realistic change. My approach is collaborative, practical, and non-judgmental, creating a space where clients feel heard, supported, and respected.

My approach to therapy

In therapy, I’m collaborative, practical, and down-to-earth. I focus on helping you build coping skills, better understand what’s going on for you, and move toward changes that actually feel doable. I aim to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can show up as you are. I offer sessions in English and Spanish and value culturally responsive care.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll take time to talk about what brought you to therapy and what you’d like help with. I’ll ask some questions to better understand what’s going on, and together we’ll start setting goals that feel realistic and manageable. My goal is to create a calm, supportive space where you feel comfortable, respected, and heard.
