Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a passion for helping others navigate life's challenges and develop healthy ways to manage stress, relationships, and personal struggles. My clinical experience includes working with adolescents, men, and individuals within the Hispanic community. I specialize in supporting clients experiencing depression, anxiety, life stressors, grief, and significant life transitions.

My goal is to create a comfortable, judgment-free environment where clients feel heard, respected, and understood. I value authenticity, genuine connection, and helping individuals recognize their own strengths and abilities to create meaningful change.

Outside of my professional work, I am a father who enjoys traveling, following sports, and taking on home renovation projects. I believe that life experiences, relationships, and the challenges we navigate along the way all contribute to who we become. I bring that same appreciation for life's experiences into my work with clients, meeting each person where they are and helping them move toward the life they want to build.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is practical, collaborative, and goal-oriented. I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and problem-solving techniques to help clients identify unhelpful thinking patterns, recognize personal strengths, and develop effective strategies for managing life's challenges. I believe in focusing not only on understanding what is happening, but also on identifying opportunities for growth and change. Therapy is tailored to each client's individual needs, with an emphasis on building skills and making progress that carries over into everyday life

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a comfortable working relationship. We'll discuss what brought you to therapy, what challenges you may be experiencing, and what you hope to get out of the process. You can expect a relaxed, conversational, and judgment-free environment where there is no pressure to share more than you're comfortable with. We'll explore your goals, discuss what support might look like, and begin identifying areas where we can work together. My priority is to help you feel comfortable, respected, and confident as we begin the therapeutic process.
