Great to meet you!

Hello everyone, I’m Jose.

Mental health is a journey that may bring complex behavioral situations to our lives. Thus, have you felt like giving up, lack of enjoyment or motivation in your life? Are you disengaged with people around you? Do you have low frustration tolerance, whether is due to anxiety, depression, mood instability, substance use or psychosis? You are not alone! And we can develop a treatment plan that is holistic in order to achieve and maintain your mental wellness.

My approach to therapy

I utilize the most current and evidence-based practice screening assessment scales and tools to formulate a diagnostic approach. Further, I collect a comprehensive past medical and psychiatric history that will enable me to evaluate your own individual situation, and how to work on your weaknesses and potentiate your strengths. Lastly, your treatment plan may or may not include the use of medications, nevertheless, you will have different treatment alternatives tailored to your specific need.

What you can expect from me

In our sessions you can expect to be treated with respect and engage in a nonjudgment dialogue to gather a full sense of your present situation and complete mental health history. I will also gather information on your present stressors, life changing events, and overall important topics in your life to formulate an appropriate and holistic plan of care.

Lastly, I formulate treatment plans according to evidence-based practices and FDA approved pharmacological guidelines.
