Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), I am deeply passionate about providing a safe, compassionate space where clients feel truly heard, valued, and empowered on their healing journeys. I bring over 16 years of experience as a district-wide behavior and mental health specialist, providing support to students and families navigating complex needs.

My clinical approach is rooted in a collaborative spirit, helping individuals navigate life's challenges while discovering their own inner resilience and strength. By combining evidence-based practices with warm, empathetic guidance, I walk alongside my clients as they transform struggles into opportunities for profound personal growth. I believe that true healing happens within a trusting therapeutic relationship that celebrates every milestone, big or small. Whether exploring difficult emotions or building practical coping skills, my commitment is to be a steadfast advocate for your mental health and well-being every step of the way.

My approach to therapy

My goal is to offer a warm, respectful space where you feel heard, valued, and understood from the first session. I blend a client-centered approach with practical, skills-based tools, including CBT and DBT-informed strategies such as emotion regulation and distress tolerance. Together, we'll identify your strengths, notice and shift unhelpful thought patterns, and build realistic strategies you can use in everyday life. You'll have a real voice in setting goals and deciding the direction of therapy. Your past experiences are welcome whenever they matter to you, and we'll always move at a pace that feels right. Change is possible, and I'm here to support you as you work toward it.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a relaxed, pressure-free conversation. My main goal is to get to know you: your story, your values, and what brought you to therapy. I'll ask thoughtful questions to understand your perspective, and we'll go at a pace that feels comfortable. There are no right or wrong answers and no need to have everything figured out. You'll find support without judgment. Together, we'll begin building a trusting relationship, uncovering your strengths, and talking about the changes you want to create in your life.
