Welcome! My name is Joseé Muldrew, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia. I specialize in supporting women and men of color as they navigate life transitions, heal from past experiences, and uncover their authentic truths. I earned my B.A. in Psychology from Spelman College and an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling & Behavioral Medicine from Boston University School of Medicine. My goal is to create a safe, affirming space where clients can process challenges, strengthen self-awareness, and move toward healing.
My approach to therapy is warm, inquisitive, challenging, and supportive. I view myself as an advocate and supporter who walks alongside you in your journey. My style is gentle, but direct, aiming to hold up a mirror to you that allows you to see all parts of yourself. I work to build a healthy rapport with my clients that empowers them to share their story and experience the healing they desire in a nonjudgmental environment.
Clients can expect to take away a deepened sense of self and awareness from their work with me. It is my goal that you cultivate self-trust in your ability to regulate your emotions and make wise decisions that support your well-being. Clients learn to practice self-compassion and accountability in working towards their goals.
