Great to meet you!

I believe therapy works best when clients feel safe, supported, and genuinely understood. My approach is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental, and I strive to create a space where clients can openly explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences at their own pace.

I understand that reaching out for help can feel vulnerable, and I value the trust my clients place in me. I work to meet each person where they are while helping them build insight, coping skills, resilience, and confidence. I believe in balancing empathy and validation with practical tools and strategies that support meaningful and lasting change.

Clients often describe me as compassionate, approachable, calming, and easy to talk to. I utilize evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care, while tailoring treatment to each client’s individual needs and goals.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic style is warm, compassionate, and collaborative. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered. I balance empathy with practical tools and utilize CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and trauma-informed approaches to help clients navigate challenges and create meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, clients can expect a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where they can begin sharing their story at a pace that feels comfortable to them. The initial session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another, discuss what is bringing them to therapy, explore current challenges, and identify goals for treatment.

I will ask questions about emotional well-being, relationships, stressors, coping strategies, and personal history to gain a better understanding of each client’s unique experiences and needs. Clients are also encouraged to ask questions and share what they hope to gain from therapy.

My goal during the first session is to help clients feel heard, supported, and comfortable while beginning to build a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust, collaboration, and mutual respect.
