Josefina Perez-Castro

Josefina Perez-Castro, a Barry University graduate in 1981 with a BA in Psychology from FIU, has been a cornerstone of South Florida's community for decades. Her career started with Dade County Department of Youth and Family Development, followed by Clinical Supervisor at Dade County Family and Victim Services. She specializes in individual, marriage, family, and group therapy, with a focus on domestic violence, sexual abuse, substance abuse, anger management, and parent education.

Josefina specializes in personalized counseling and psychotherapy, focusing on depression, anxiety, stress, grief, trauma, and relationship challenges. She offers cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, psycho-dynamic therapy, solution-focused therapy, trauma, and grief therapy. Her expertise extends to cross-cultural issues, addictions, domestic violence, life transitions, and improving family and couples' relationships, empowering individuals to achieve mental well-being and balance.
