Joseph Aquino

I received my Master's degree from St. John Fisher University in 2020. I began my career working in substance use treatment where I had the opportunity to work closely with individuals, specialized groups and family members. I took the jump to begin my own practice in 2022 and have since specialized in working with people experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, life transitions, autism, marital concerns, LGBTQIA+ and men's issues .

My approach to therapy starts by creating an environment that is calming and casual. I listen to your needs and tailor our sessions to what can be most helpful for you. I do my best to be supportive while developing a healthy therapeutic relationship built on trust and understanding. Therapy can be intimidating and my hope is to break that one client at a time.

Clients have expressed leaving my office feeling heard, encouraged and hopeful. My hope is that each person I work with feels well equipped with tools and coping skills to be able to work through their own personal struggles.
