Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a military veteran whose work in trauma therapy is deeply informed by lived experience. Long before earning credentials, I saw firsthand how service, loss, and crisis can leave lasting psychological wounds. After my military service, I worked at a VA hospital, providing therapy to veterans facing PTSD, moral injury, depression, and anxiety. What became clear was this: healing happens most effectively when clients work with someone who understands both the clinical process and the realities of their experience.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and deeply respectful of your lived experience. I aim to create a therapeutic environment where you feel safe, supported, and empowered to move at your own pace. Drawing from evidence-based modalities such as trauma-informed care and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I tailor treatment to align with your goals and needs.

Whether you are working through trauma, PTSD, anxiety, or life transitions, our work focuses on strengthening insight, identifying patterns, and building practical coping strategies that foster meaningful change. Therapy with me is not about fixing you—it is about understanding your story, increasing self-awareness, and creating space for healing and growth.

What you can expect from me

I believe healing is both a steady and meaningful process. My role is to offer a safe, supportive space for those navigating trauma, PTSD, and high-stress experiences.

The first session is focused on establishing comfort and trust. Beginning therapy takes courage, and you can expect a respectful, non-judgmental environment where you are not required to share more than you are ready to. We will move at a pace that feels right for you.

There is no pressure to discuss traumatic events during the initial session. You remain in control of the process, and together we will build a foundation of safety, clarity, and trust to support your healing journey moving forward.
