Great to meet you!

My name is Joseph D'Introno and I am a Clinical Social Worker. I have 13+ years of experience treating adolescents and adults and who suffer from anxiety and depressive disorders and difficulties in relationships. I work with individuals who are struggling to break out of anxious thinking patterns, move on from a traumatic relationship or are struggling with managing depressive symptoms. I consider myself a flexible clinician who tries to work collaboratively with patients. I have been relationally trained for the past 5 years but I see value in different types of therapy modalities in addition to healthy coping skills.

My approach to therapy

I always tell patients I try to work with the people I work with. I see therapy as a collaborative effort and I have found that working together has been more effective in reaching my patients goals. My goal is to provide a safe space where patients can learn to try and understand their feelings better which can help cope with difficult experiences and life stressors. I always welcome input on what goes on in session because I feel it can help patient's experience and allow for more collaboration.

What you can expect from me

The goals are discussed during an initial session where I would like to hear what someone is looking to get out of therapy and also inform them on how I can help.
