Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida, Indiana, and Illinois with years of experience working with adolescents and adults of various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds struggling with problems related to mental health and substance use. During my career, I have worked in a variety of behavioral health care settings, providing both individual and group therapy.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Using a client-centered approach, I emphasize empathy, positive support, and non-judgment in my work. Additionally, I prioritize the use of evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy interventions including mindfulness, as appropriate. I believe that the journey to become familiar with our authentic selves not only improves our feelings of wellness and self-esteem, but also helps to enrich the relationships that we share with others.

What you can expect from our first session

I will work with you to establish a better understanding of the barriers you are experiencing. Together, we will create a plan for you to overcome them. It is my privilege to partner with individuals on these very personal journeys and I look forward to travel with you on yours.
