Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) providing compassionate, evidence-based care to adolescents and adults. My approach blends clinical expertise with a collaborative, patient-centered philosophy, I believe treatment works best when you feel heard, understood, and actively involved in your care.

I earned my graduate degree in psychiatric-mental health nursing from Northern Kentucky University and have experience treating a wide range of conditions, including anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, trauma-related conditions, mood disorders, and medication management for complex psychiatric presentations. My background includes working with individuals navigating life transitions, high-achieving professionals experiencing burnout, and patients seeking thoughtful, personalized medication management.

I specialize in comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management, with a focus on clarity, safety, and long-term stability. I aim to avoid overmedication while ensuring symptoms are effectively treated. When appropriate, I integrate supportive therapy techniques into sessions to help patients build insight, resilience, and practical coping strategies.

My practice is fully telehealth-based, allowing for convenient, private access to care. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable discussing what’s really going on — without judgment — and to work together toward meaningful, sustainable improvement in your mental health.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, structured, and individualized. I view treatment as a partnership, you bring your lived experience, and I bring clinical expertise. Together, we create a plan that is practical, sustainable, and aligned with your goals.

I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and thoughtful medication management, with an emphasis on clarity and safety. I take time to understand not just symptoms, but patterns, stressors, medical history, sleep, lifestyle factors, and personal values. I believe in avoiding unnecessary medications while ensuring symptoms are adequately treated and functional improvement is measurable.

I often integrate supportive therapy techniques into medication visits, including cognitive-behavioral strategies, psychoeducation, and skill-building tools to help improve emotional regulation, focus, and resilience. My style is calm, direct, and solution-focused, while still allowing space for reflection and processing.

I specialize in treating anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, trauma-related symptoms, and mood disorders in adolescents and adults. I also work well with high-achieving professionals, individuals navigating major life transitions, and patients who want a thoughtful, evidence-based approach rather than a rushed or one-size-fits-all experience.

My goal is to create a telehealth environment where you feel comfortable being honest about what’s working, what isn’t, and what you need — so we can adjust treatment intentionally and move toward meaningful, long-term stability.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is focused on understanding the full picture, not just a checklist of symptoms. I create a structured but relaxed environment where you can speak openly about what’s been going on, what you’ve tried before, and what you’re hoping will change.

During this appointment, we’ll complete a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation. We’ll review current symptoms, mental health history, medical background, sleep patterns, stressors, lifestyle factors, and any prior treatment experiences. I also want to understand your strengths, supports, and long-term goals, not just what feels difficult right now.

If medication is appropriate, we’ll discuss options in detail, including benefits, potential side effects, and realistic expectations. I believe in transparency and shared decision-making, so you’ll never feel pressured into a treatment plan. If medication is not the right next step, we’ll discuss alternative strategies and recommendations.

By the end of the first session, you can expect:

• A clearer understanding of your diagnosis or working clinical impression

• A personalized treatment plan

• Specific next steps and measurable goals

• An opportunity to ask questions and ensure you feel comfortable moving forward

My goal is for you to leave the first appointment feeling heard, informed, and confident about the direction of your care.
