Hello! My name is Joseph (Joe) Han, and I am an NYU-trained, board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with 7 years of experience caring for adults across inpatient, outpatient, and behavioral emergency settings. Reaching out for care can be difficult, and I’m glad you’re taking this step for yourself! As your provider, it’s important to me that I understand your story fully so we can build a thoughtful care plan.
My approach is collaborative and grounded in an authentic provider-client relationship. I believe open communication builds the trust needed to make real progress. My goal is for you to grow and flourish in life! I use an integrative approach that leans strongly on Schemay Therapy and CBT, and if requested, can integrate Christian-based perspectives.
The first session is about getting to know you! We will begin by introducing ourselves to one another and having you tell your story while I ask you some guiding questions about your history. Together, we will shape an individualized treatment plan and set collaborative goals for your mental well-being.
