Great to meet you!

I work with adults healing from trauma, anxiety, and the ways painful experiences can affect self-worth, relationships, and daily life. I’m LGBTQ+ affirming and BIPOC-affirming, and I take identity, culture, and lived experience seriously in the therapy room. I’ve worked in community mental health, addiction treatment, and private practice, and my style is practical, grounded, and supportive.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, structured, and compassionate. We’ll focus on identifying patterns, strengthening emotional regulation, and changing the thoughts and behaviors that keep you stuck—while also making space to understand the deeper “why” behind them. I often blend evidence-based strategies (like CBT and motivational interviewing) with insight-oriented work and parts-based approaches when it fits. We’ll set clear goals and track progress in a way that feels realistic and meaningful.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a calm, low-pressure conversation to understand what’s bringing you in and what you want to change. We’ll talk about current stressors, what safety and support look like for you, and any trauma history you want to share (only as much as you choose). By the end, we’ll identify a clear focus for therapy and a first step you can use right away—often a grounding or coping strategy. You can expect a welcoming space where your identity is respected and your goals stay central.
