I am a licensed clinical social worker with a PhD and many years of experience supporting adolescents and adults through difficult and often overwhelming life challenges. I specialize in addictions and co-occurring disorders, depression, anxiety, and suicide risk, and I have spent years working clinically with military veterans. My style is collaborative, respectful, and grounded in evidence-based care. I work to create a space where clients feel safe, understood, and supported as we work together toward stability, healing, and meaningful change
My clients come to me with real-world problems and a genuine desire to heal and recover from their related emotional and psychological injuries. They may suffer from symptoms of anxiety, depression, loneliness, and/or substance use. I provide guidance, support and therapy to assist individuals coping with a variety circumstances and often overwhelming stressors impacting their mental health, quality of life, happiness, sense of purpose, and overall wellbeing. In so doing, my clients consistently meet their own goals and find balance and healing as a result of the therapy proprovided.
My approach to therapy is grounded in understanding the real-world challenges my clients are facing and the emotional and psychological impact of those experiences. Clients often come to therapy seeking relief from anxiety, depression, loneliness, substance use, or the effects of prolonged stress and life disruption. I provide guidance, structure, and evidence-based therapeutic support to help individuals better understand their experiences, reduce distress, and develop effective coping strategies. Therapy is a collaborative process, and my goal is to support clients as they work toward greater balance, healing, and a renewed sense of purpose and well-being.
