Great to meet you!

Joseph Iannotto specializes in the areas of depression, anxiety, LGBTQ+ related topics, OCD, ADHD, and survivors of trauma. Joseph utilizes CBT/DBT methods and has a client-centered approach while incorporating mindfulness and grounding techniques and adapting treatment to meet each individual's needs. I treat each patient as an individual, not cookie cutter treatment methods!

My approach to therapy

What I would like clients to know about me is that I will be honest. I will respect your right to self-determination and I will meet you where you are at. I understand that therapy can be a very vulnerable situation and therefore I promise to keep our sessions confidential and have respect for each of my clients. I strongly believe that the intake process should be like any other conversation. We will begin to build rapport during our first couple of sessions and outline what your reason is for therapy and what are your goals and together find a way to achieve these goals in addition, I believe in the power of the spoken word and that I also believe in the power of humor and being able to use laughter as medicine.

What you can expect from me

What client can expect from a session with me is to have my attention, to address their concerns and to put a plan in place together to find solutions.
