Great to meet you!

Joseph (Joe) Jablonski, PMHNP-BC is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who provides compassionate, patient-centered care. He specializes in the evaluation and management of anxiety, depression, trauma-related conditions, and substance use disorders.

Joe brings a diverse clinical background to his practice. He has experience as a collegiate strength and conditioning coach and registered nurse in a surgical intensive care unit, as well as serving as a high school nurse—roles that have shaped his ability to connect with patients across different age groups and life circumstances. Over the past two years, he has worked in geriatric inpatient psychiatry and with an adult intensive outpatient program further expanding his expertise in managing complex mental health conditions.

With this broad foundation, Joe is well-equipped to support individuals from various backgrounds, tailoring treatment plans to meet each patient’s unique needs while fostering a collaborative and supportive therapeutic relationship.

My approach to therapy

Joe uses a holistic, evidence-based, and measurement driven treatment plan that prioritizes the patient's individual goals and long-term functional stability. His unique background and patient centered approach allows for personalized treatment plans that are developed in conjunction with the patient. Joe's viewpoint aligns closely with the biopsychosocial model of psychiatry and his belief that in its simplest form mental health can be addressed by modulating neurotransmitters through adequate sleep, appropriate diet, physical activity, socialization/counseling, and with the use of psychotropic medications if necessary.

What you can expect from me

During the initial assessment, we will begin a collaborative process to understand your unique background and current circumstances. Developing an effective, personalized treatment plan requires a strong foundational understanding of each client's history and goals. This first session serves as a comprehensive evaluation to explore your current situation and the contributing factors that led to your seeking care. Together, we will work to identify potential blind spots, gain constructive new perspectives, and develop or refine the coping skills necessary to effectively manage the emotions and behaviors associated with your current life stressors.
