Great to meet you!

Executive Behavioral Health Counselor

I work with clients suffering from the symptoms of living high-intensity, high-stress lives. Many have high-profile jobs such as executives, professionals, educators, healthcare workers, and others in high-impact, high-stress occupations.

My focus is the 'Stress of Being Sick from Stress.'

I specialize in clinical anxiety, depression, and acute stress management resulting from professional burnout, life transitions, and high-stakes legal adversity or litigation.

I have completed the post-grad certificate program from UMass Medical School in Integrated Behavioral Health, which has prepared me to work with physicians and their patients with stress-sensitive illness.

With a 40-year career—including 20 years as an executive and 20 years in private clinical practice—I understand the unique intersection of high-level leadership, physical health, and peace of mind.

I help clients learn to resolve the consequences of chronic pressure—specifically the insomnia, hypervigilance, and cognitive fatigue that often complicate conditions like CVD and Diabetes and fuel unhealthy lifestyle and dysfunctional relationship patterns.

My background as an executive allows me to listen at an elite professional level, while my current work supporting high-consequence military professionals ensures my clinical tools remain refined for both immediate 'stay in the fight' stabilization and broader lifestyle strengthening and health recovery.

My approach to therapy

My approach is medically-neurologically informed and strictly goal-oriented. I treat acute clinical stress, severe anxiety, and depressive symptoms as direct physiological threats to your functional capacity. By utilizing specialized visualization protocols for rapid neurological reset and evidence-based behavior change, I help you bypass the limitations of traditional 'talk therapy' to achieve more timely, sometimes immediate symptom reduction.

Beyond crisis stabilization, we focus on the broader lifestyle health required for long-term professional or legal adversity. This means Capacity Building for managing the cortisol-driven exhaustion and preoccupation that interfere with both medical recovery and executive decision-making. This is Integrated Behavioral Health for the high-performer: a process designed to restore your physiological control so you can maintain your command presence and professional longevity.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is focused on a single question: 'What would you like the results of our work to be?' Whether you need an immediate 'stay in the fight' stabilization strategy for a current crisis involving intense anxiety, depression, or occupational burnout, or you require a comprehensive behavioral plan to navigate complex legal or professional adversity, we build a roadmap with objectives that are both desirable and possible.

I provide a menu of clinical options, allowing you to choose the behavioral tools best suited to your target results. You can expect a high-trust, high-transparency partnership. My 40 years of leadership and clinical experience allow for a style that is direct, human, and deeply respectful of your time. We engage in agile problem-solving to identify new, healthy strategies that lead to immediate movement and sustained health.
