Great to meet you!

I bring over 30 years of healthcare experience, including 11 years as an EMT in NYC, more than 20 years as a medical assistant in oncology, cardiology, and pediatrics, and work as a phlebotomy supervisor and trainer. I have personally navigated financial hardship, job loss, grief, chronic pain, marriage, parenthood, and the heartbreak of losing loved ones to suicide. These lived experiences ground my compassion and my belief that therapy should be a safe, nonjudgmental space for everyone.

My approach to therapy

I am a compassionate, evidence-based therapist specializing in trauma, depression, anxiety, and conduct difficulties. I hold advanced certifications in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and MATCH, which inform my specialized approach to trauma-focused care and practical CBT tools. I tailor therapy to your needs, whether you want to better understand your emotions, change long-standing behavioral patterns, or work through painful life events. Together, we will build insight and coping skills.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I will focus on creating a warm, steady, and authentic environment where you can openly share your worries, fears, needs, and goals. I will listen carefully, learn what matters most to you, and begin identifying practical ways to support you. We will check in regularly to stay aligned, so you can move forward with confidence. I will honor your lived experiences and strengths, and support you at a pace that feels respectful and empowering.
