Great to meet you!

Expect a supportive, collaborative, and nonjudgmental environment where their unique needs and experiences are respected. I prioritize open communication, shared decision-making, and a holistic view of mental health that goes beyond symptoms to understand the whole person.

I take a thoughtful, conservative approach to medication management and often work in partnership with therapists to ensure well-rounded care. I believe in building a strong therapeutic alliance, and I encourage active involvement from clients in shaping their treatment plans.

Whether you're new to mental health care or continuing your journey, I aim to create a space where you feel heard, empowered, and supported every step of the way.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is comprehensive, patient-centered, and rooted in both traditional and holistic practices. I believe in treating the whole person—addressing mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical health to support lasting wellness.

I take a conservative approach to psychopharmacology and strongly believe in collaborative care, working closely with primary psychotherapists to ensure a balanced and effective treatment plan. I also integrate complementary and alternative medicine, lifestyle modifications, exercise, nutrition, and stress management strategies into my practice.

My clinical experience spans a range of settings, including acute and non-acute inpatient units, substance use detox and residential programs, and a county correctional facility. I specialize in treating chronic mental illness, mood disorders, depression, anxiety, PTSD, and substance use disorders across all age groups.

What you can expect from me

In our first assessment and ongoing sessions concise and direct treatment that is supportive and welcoming will be included in order to build rapport, work on treatment planning together, and goal setting.
