Bio-behavior Psychotherapist and Advanced Practice Psychiatric-Mental Health Provider.

My education includes a doctoral degree (PhD) with emphasis placed on biological behaviors of the brain and anger management. I am also nationally recognized as a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. With over 21 years of professional healthcare experience. My areas of clinical focus include treating diverse Individuals, couples, and family members from ages 18 to 100yrs living with mental health disorders.

My approach to therapy

My goal is to empower persons to be their best possible self in order to live a rewarding and productive life. I have a special interest in using multiple treatment options, which includes using psychotherapy and/or medication management, to help individuals and couples cope with issues related to anger, aggressive behaviors, anxiety, addiction, depression, ADHD, PTSD, OCD, bipolar, eating, psychotic, schizoaffective, sleeping, motivation, self-esteem, other mental health disorders.

On the first session, clients can expect to complete an initial psychiatric mental health assessment in an environment that is inviting, compassionate, and supportive.
