Great to meet you!

I believe quality mental health care starts with feeling heard and respected. I take a collaborative, patient-centered approach and work to understand the whole person, not just symptoms. My goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space while offering thoughtful, evidence-based psychiatric care tailored to each individual’s needs.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is patient-centered and collaborative. I focus on understanding the whole person not just symptoms, by taking into account personal history, life stressors, medical factors, and individual goals. Treatment decisions are made together, with an emphasis on evidence-based care, clear education, and thoughtful follow-up.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, clients can expect a comprehensive and supportive psychiatric evaluation. We will review current concerns, symptoms, mental health history, medical background, and any prior treatments. I will ask questions to better understand what has been most challenging and what you hope to gain from care.

The first visit is also a time for clients to ask questions, share expectations, and discuss any concerns about treatment options. By the end of the session, we will outline next steps, which may include treatment recommendations, medication options if appropriate, and a general plan moving forward.

My goal for the first session is for clients to leave feeling heard, informed, and confident about the direction of their care.
