Great to meet you!

I’m Joseph Ossorio, a licensed marriage and family therapist, and I work with youth, couples, and families who feel stuck—whether that’s in communication, connection, life transitions, or overall satisfaction with life. My goal is to help clients slow things down, make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface, and find new ways to move forward that feel more aligned and authentic.

My approach to therapy is collaborative and strengths-based. Rather than focusing on what’s “wrong,” I partner with clients to identify what’s already working, develop practical strategies for managing stress, and strengthen areas of personal growth that support healthier relationships and a greater sense of well-being. I don’t see therapy as fixing people—it’s about helping individuals better understand themselves and use their strengths more effectively.

In the first few sessions, many clients discover things about themselves they hadn’t noticed before. I work to create a space where people feel heard, supported, and actively partnered with in finding solutions and strategies that fit their lives. Feeling understood and respected is essential, and I believe meaningful insight and exploration can lead to real, lasting change.

I’m passionate about this work because I believe every person brings unique experiences, strengths, and wisdom into the therapy room. Everyone needs support at some point in their life, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside clients as they work toward stronger relationships, a healthier self-image, and a more satisfying life.

My approach to therapy

I'm dedicated to helping families and couples rebuild meaningful connections. Through evidence-based therapy, and using what works, I create a safe space for healing, growth, and understanding.
