Great to meet you!

Joe earned a master’s degree in social work from Fordham University and a bachelor’s degree in social work from Rutgers University. He is a licensed social worker and clinical alcohol and drug counselor (LCADC).

Joe says watching clients grow and seeing that “light” back in their eyes is what he finds most fulfilling about his work. Joe enjoys spending time with his family, performing, and creating music.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Based Therapy, and the Humanistic Approach. I believe it is essential for the therapist to work alongside the client to build rapport and establish trust so that the client feels safe to begin the healing process.

What you can expect from me

I am a seasoned therapist with over eight years of experience working in the substance abuse and mental health field. I am most passionate about guiding my clients to achieve a healthier self and accomplish their goals. I learned that people want to be validated and heard. If I can be that person for each client I meet, then I did my due diligence as a therapist to show unconditional positive regard, non-judgment, and listening empathetically.
