Great to meet you!

Beginning therapy treatment can be both exciting and daunting. If you've made it this far, you're likely going through a challenging time or seeking to know more about the patterns that have brought you to this point in your life. Whether you're experiencing relationship issues, self-esteem shakiness, anxiety, depression, or just want to take the time to better know & understand yourself, talk therapy can be a powerful tool and platform to help you along the way. Having someone on the other end of the line to listen and help make sense of it all can be a pivotal experience and ultimately help you get to your desired goal. If this sounds good for you, and you feel you're ready, know that I'd like to help you on your way.

My approach to therapy

My stance towards treatment is adaptive to the necessities of each client. I work from a psychodynamic approach that includes training in attachment, with a focus on early life experiences, unconscious thoughts/behaviors, and the relational dynamics between therapist and patient. This style of treatment is meant to approach life problems from different angles and better understand solutions, intentions, and goals.

What you can expect from me

Much have my work has been with adults who are experiencing new and difficult stages in their lives, seeking support to navigate these experiences. Whether it be new parenthood, a new career path, the beginning or ending of an important relationship, or the struggle to communicate wants and needs towards a desired outcome, I feel confident in helping to navigate and process the way to a place of understanding and relief. Sometimes, anxious and depressive feelings seem like the sneak up on us, and it's hard to place why they've arrived or where they've come from; with thoughtful and deeper exploration, we can better decipher their origins and causes.
