Great to meet you!

I come from a big family, a background that taught me early how to connect with all kinds of people, navigate complexity, and show up with genuine empathy. Before entering healthcare, I had a different career entirely as a hairdresser, which I believe makes me more relatable and attuned to patients from all walks of life. Whatever you're carrying into our first appointment, I've likely encountered something close to it.

I've been in healthcare since 2018, with extensive experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I hold dual board certifications- as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) and a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)- which means I'm trained to look at you as a whole person, not just a set of symptoms. I consider physical health, mental health, nutrition, and lifestyle all part of the same picture.

I treat adults and proudly serve patients from diverse backgrounds. You deserve a provider who sees and respects all of who you are.

Areas I specialize in:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety & Social anxiety
  • Panic disorder
  • OCD
  • PTSD
  • Insomnia
  • ADHD

Reaching out is the hardest step. I'm here to make everything after that a little easier.

My approach to therapy

One thing that sets my approach apart: I don't reach for a prescription pad as the first step. Before recommending medication, I like to explore whether organic, physical, or nutritional factors may be contributing to what you're experiencing. Sleep, hormones, bloodwork, diet- these things matter, and they're often overlooked in a 15-minute appointment elsewhere.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a conversation- not an interrogation, not a checklist. My goal is simple: to understand you.

We'll talk about what's been going on, how long you've been experiencing it, and how it's affecting your day-to-day life. I'll also ask about your medical history, your lifestyle, and anything else that might be relevant- because in my experience, the full picture almost always matters. Mental health doesn't exist in a vacuum, and I want to make sure nothing physical or nutritional is being missed before we build a care plan together.

You won't leave the first session with a prescription unless it's clearly needed and we both agree it's the right step. What you will leave with is a clear sense of where we're starting, what we're working toward, and what to expect next.

There's no pressure to have everything figured out before we meet. Come as you are- that's enough.
