Great to meet you!

I have been in the field since 2017 working with multiple populations from pre-teens to late adulthood. I hold an independent license in social work and chemical dependency. Aiding others to build empowerment has become a passion for me. I have a masters degree in social work from Ohio University. I am a trained EMDR therapist. At this time I am seeing individuals for bi-weekly sessions.

My approach to therapy

Working with clients I feel being open and honest about the process is important for both myself and the client. Establishing a therapeutic relationship that allows for attunement and the ability to challenge negative core beliefs allows for the therapy process to take effect. Using EMDR or other modalities the focus will be to reach the goals the client has established.

What you can expect from me

In our first session we will start building a rapport and gathering information to best address the issues presented. After completing the assessment, the client and myself will build a treatment plan to best address the desired outcome of treatment.
