Great to meet you!

I’m Joe, a dual board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). I have several years of outpatient experience supporting adults with ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, insomnia, and stress-related challenges, along with nine years of RN work in psychiatric hospital settings. While I have a strong interest in men’s mental health, I am happy to work with anyone I connect with and anyone who feels comfortable working with me. My style is warm, grounded, and human, and I value creating a space where people can talk openly and feel understood.

Consult calls are available 7 days a week. Telehealth sessions available during office hours: Tue-Thurs and Sat, 12-6PM (PT)

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative and centered around shared decision-making. I use evidence-based medication management when appropriate and combine it with lifestyle-focused strategies that support mental and physical wellbeing. This includes movement, sleep optimization, mindfulness, nutrition, supplements, and stress-regulation tools. I also draw from trauma-informed care, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems principles, and motivational interviewing to support clarity, emotional balance, and long-term progress

What you can expect from me

The first session is focused on understanding your story, symptoms, history, goals, and what you want out of care. Clients can expect a supportive, non-judgmental space where they can speak openly, ask questions, and feel psychologically safe. Together we clarify priorities, discuss treatment options, and decide on a plan that fits your values and comfort level. Early follow-ups help us monitor response, adjust treatment as needed, and support steady improvement in daily functioning, focus, mood, and sleep.
