Great to meet you!

Hello! I’m Josephine Harts, your nurse practitioner from California, dedicated to providing a warm and understanding approach to your healthcare needs. With fifteen years in the field, and over five as a Nurse Practitioner, I’ve honed the ability to truly listen and connect, ensuring your voice is central to our shared health journey.

My certifications as a Family Nurse Practitioner and in Psychiatric Mental Health equip me to support you through any challenge, which may include, but are not limited to, the common cold, gynecological concerns, anxiety, depression, and weight loss.

My approach to therapy

In my practice, I dig deep into both physical and mental aspects, viewing each patient holistically. My career has given me the privilege of working with diverse groups, including the LGBT community, veterans, expectant parents, teens, middle-aged adults, and older adults. I extend my services to individuals ages six and above, aiming to meet everyone’s unique needs with compassion and understanding.

What you can expect from me

Clients gain a sense of being heard, along with tools for managing both physical and mental health from my sessions. They develop a better understanding of their condition and its effects on thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Additionally, clients leave with personalized action plans, coping mechanisms, and evidence-based guidance to improve their well-being. The client will learn about medication management if it is part of the plan of care. I will provide education about the medication, including its potential benefits and side effects, as well as how to manage it effectively.

Overall, clients will walk away with valuable insights into their physical and mental health, understanding potential causes and available treatment options. This approach empowers them to make informed choices about their care.
