Great to meet you!

I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a Doctorate in Education and a deep commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered psychiatric care. Throughout my professional journey, I have dedicated much of my career to mental health while educating and mentoring future nurses to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care.

At ACP Psychiatric Services, my goal is to provide individualized psychiatric evaluations and medication management in a supportive, respectful, and welcoming environment. I believe in treating every patient with dignity, understanding, and respect while working collaboratively to support their mental health and overall well-being.

As a bilingual provider fluent in English and Spanish, I am committed to making quality psychiatric care accessible to individuals from diverse backgrounds and helping patients feel understood, comfortable, and empowered in their treatment.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is modern, compassionate, and down-to-earth. I want my patients to feel comfortable showing up as their authentic selves, expressing their emotions freely, and speaking openly without fear of judgment. Whether you need to vent, cry, laugh, express frustration, or even curse a little to get your point across, you can feel comfortable being yourself here.

I believe mental health care should feel like a safe, supportive conversation, not a stiff or intimidating appointment. I meet my patients where they are, listen without judgment, and work collaboratively with them to develop individualized treatment plans that reflect their needs and goals. My priority is to create an environment where you feel heard, respected, understood, and empowered throughout your mental health journey.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other, talk openly about what you have been experiencing, and begin identifying what is affecting you the most. I understand that when you are struggling, you want to feel better as soon as possible. While meaningful progress takes time, we can start by focusing on what is weighing on you most right now and work together to determine the best path forward.
