Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner licensed in FL and NY. With 19 years of experience in the nursing field, I have cared for clients with anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, panic attacks, eating disorders, insomnia, trauma, chronic conditions, and women's health including postpartum depression, body dysmorphia, PMDD. Experienced and trained across the life span, I provide care for adolescents until late adulthood. I am also fluent in Haitian Creole.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, compassionate and empathetic, patient-centered, holistic, evidence-based interventions such as CBT, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy. It is vital to examine an individual's physical, emotional, and social health in order to improve their mental health. Josette takes the necessary steps to ensure her clients receive the necessary tools to manage their day to day for years and decades to come and not a quick and temporary fix.

What you can expect from me

With each session, my goal is to make my clients feel heard, seen, understood, motivated, empowered, and feeling better than when we first started. My most valuable assets as a provider are my attention to detail while dealing with a variety of mental health conditions, my ability to listen, and my sincere goal to make a difference in each life that I come into contact with.
