Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Dr. Gunn, I specialize in helping adolescent males (16+) and men pursuing good mental well-being. I recognize that males face their own distinct set of pressures and expectations, and throughout my career I have seen how helpful and freeing it can be to have a safe and non-judgmental space to explore your thoughts and feelings. My tailored approach acknowledges the diverse experiences of males, offering support for issues such as stress, anxiety, low self-esteem, imposter syndrome, partner/relationship issues, parenting/family dynamics, career challenges, life transitions, and more.

My approach to therapy

Because I've been doing this for quite a while, I am comfortable working with a very wide range of concerns and have a robust arsenal of approaches I can deploy to fit each client's unique needs. I draw heavily from Interpersonal, Cognitive-Behavioral, and Acceptance and Commitment therapies. I am also a culturally responsible and social justice-oriented therapist, inclusive to all identities.

What you can expect from me

I try to help folks learn something new about themselves every session.Therapy is a safe space where you can explore yourself in a safe, non-judgmental way. My goal is that you develop the knowledge and skills you'll need to most effectively manage whatever life is throwing at you.
