Great to meet you!

Hello, My name is Josh Kale. I am licensed professional clinical counselor practicing in northeastern Ohio. I have a background in clinical mental health, art therapy and experience working with children, adults and seniors. I approach therapy in a way that is friendly, welcoming and creative. I aspire to be the type of therapist I would want to work with. I would want someone who is kind, caring, creates a safe space and takes time to actively listen without judgement. I am a therapist who is encouraging, understanding and willing to challenge you in a helpful way.

I enjoy talking and working with all individuals and I look forward to working with you...

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is person-centered, eclectic, creative problem-solving, cognitive behavioral, trauma-informed and solution-focused. I specialize in both psychotherapy (talk therapy) and art psychotherapy for those who find it easier to express themselves through the art process. Whichever you decide, I will meet you where you are.

What you can expect from me

I think its important we start with a check-in to see what brings you in today, how you've been doing lately, and so we can begin to build a therapeutic relationship. This will likely direct our therapy sessions moving forward. In therapy it is also important to develop goals which we can work on creating together. I am proud of you for taking this first step and I look forward to meeting you and working together. Talk soon...
