Great to meet you!
I know firsthand that life can change in an instant. Before becoming a licensed clinical social worker, I spent more than 20 years serving in law enforcement, where I witnessed the impact that trauma, stress, grief, and cumulative critical incidents can have on individuals and families.
Those experiences shaped my passion for helping others heal and ultimately led me to become a therapist.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Human Services and Management from the University of Phoenix and my Master of Social Work from Arizona State University. Today, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) dedicated to helping individuals build resilience, develop healthier coping strategies, and create meaningful, lasting change.
While I enjoy working with adults from all walks of life, I have specialized experience supporting first responders, healthcare professionals, veterans, and their families. I work with concerns including trauma, anxiety, depression, burnout, grief, relationship challenges, life transitions, sleep difficulties, and the cumulative effects of chronic stress.
My approach is compassionate, practical, and collaborative. I draw from evidence-based treatments including Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based strategies, and other trauma-informed interventions. I believe every person's story is unique, and I tailor treatment to fit your individual needs and goals.
Whether you're facing a recent crisis or have been carrying emotional burdens for years, you don't have to navigate them alone. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive environment where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to move toward healing, growth, and a more fulfilling life.
