Great to meet you!

Most people do not start looking for therapy because things are going great. Usually they are exhausted from carrying stress, anxiety, panic, trauma, or relationship patterns that keep repeating no matter how hard they try to think their way out of them.

I specialize in EMDR therapy for people who feel stuck in survival mode, emotionally overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, or affected by experiences that still carry weight years later.

My approach is direct, grounded, and focused on helping you actually understand why your mind and body react the way they do. EMDR helps your brain process what has been unresolved so it does not keep showing up with the same intensity in everyday life.

The goal is not to “just talk about things.” The goal is to help you feel more steady, more confident, and more able to move forward without the past constantly pulling at you.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is direct, practical, and focused on helping people create real change instead of feeling like they are just talking in circles.

I work from the understanding that anxiety, trauma, panic, stress, and relationship patterns usually make sense once we understand what your mind and nervous system have been trying to protect you from. Therapy is a place where we slow that down, make sense of it, and build healthier ways forward.

I primarily use EMDR therapy along with evidence based approaches like CBT, DBT, and attachment focused work to help people process painful experiences, manage overwhelming emotions, improve relationships, and feel more steady in everyday life.

I try to create an environment where people feel comfortable being honest, challenged when needed, and supported without judgment. My goal is for therapy to feel human, grounded, and genuinely useful outside the office too.

What you can expect from me

Most people come into their first session nervous, overthinking what to say, or worried they are going to be judged. You do not need to have everything figured out before showing up.

The first session is really about understanding what has been happening in your life, what feels stuck, and what you want to be different. We will talk through patterns, stressors, relationships, anxiety, trauma, or whatever has been weighing on you, but at a pace that feels manageable.

My goal is for you to leave feeling understood, more clear about what is actually going on, and hopeful that there is a practical path forward. I also try to make therapy feel human and comfortable instead of cold, overly clinical, or awkward.

You do not have to perform in therapy. You just have to show up honestly, and we will figure the rest out together.
