Great to meet you!

I am a licensed therapist with a Master’s in Clinical Psychology, specializing in treating trauma and trauma-related symptoms such as PTSD, CPTSD, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, identity issues, LGBTQ issues, and self-worth concerns. I have experience working in community mental health with teens, families, and adults, as well as in substance use treatment, and private practice. This broad background has given me a deep understanding of how trauma can manifest and affect one’s sense of self. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an extensively researched approach that helps resolve the effects of complex trauma at its source. I offer both clinical expertise and a relational style, creating a safe space where clients can process difficult experiences and move toward more grounded, meaningful lives.

My approach to therapy

I believe healing occurs through relationships with ourselves, others, and often within the therapeutic space. That’s why I work in a relational style, showing up as a genuine person and building trust together. Therapy with me is not just about being “analyzed” but more about creating a safe space where you can be honest, curious, and supported. My approach is trauma-informed and adaptable, combining different modalities based on what you need. I use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and a rich talk therapy experience to help process trauma and emotional pain in powerful, often transformative ways. I draw on Attachment Theory, Humanistic and Depth Psychology, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic thinking, and Client-Centered approaches. I look at the whole picture, your story, strengths, and struggles. Some sessions may focus on practical tools and strategies, while others might explore patterns, beliefs, or early experiences. Wherever we go, my goal is to meet you with empathy, insight, and the belief that meaningful change is always possible.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a supportive and collaborative environment where your experiences are valued and your goals are taken seriously. My approach is to help you understand how past experiences may still influence your present, while providing practical tools to manage symptoms like anxiety, depression, or overwhelm. Together, we’ll work toward healing the roots of trauma, building healthier relationship patterns, and cultivating a stronger sense of self. Therapy with me is about more than symptom relief. It’s about creating lasting change, resilience, and a life that feels more grounded and meaningful.
