Great to meet you!

If you want a different kind of experience with someone who is open-minded, accepting, warm, curious, and insightful, I can help. We all have a story that's influenced by everything that has happened in our lives, and we are each in charge of the way that story unfolds. I love to use stories, myths, and visual analogies in my work. Let's work on yours together! I have served clients for 15 years and have significant experience with groups, families, adults, adolescents, and children.

My approach to therapy

I am a licensed professional counselor, a national certified counselor, and a certified professional counselor supervisor. My philosophy of counseling is inspired by the work of Carl Jung who incorporated concepts of archetypes into his theories and I am interested in discovering how we can apply these ideas to our daily lives using a depth psychology perspective. We are all here for a reason and can change the world from within. I'd be honored to help you on your journey.

What you can expect from me

My preferred theoretical perspective is based on the work of Carl Jung which focuses more on the source of a problem than on its symptoms. Jung believed that the shadow, an individual’s repressed experiences and memories, results in an imbalance between conscious awareness and the unconscious mind that has a detrimental effect on one’s emotional life. In analysis, a patient must explore these forces and influences to achieve unity between the conscious and unconscious mind.
