Great to meet you!

Hi! I'm Josh. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who believes therapy works best when it feels like a real, down-to-earth conversation rather than a clinical interrogation. I love helping people work through the stressful, overwhelming, and stuck parts of life—whether that’s carrying constant anxiety, dealing with burnout, or trying to unpack complicated relationship and family dynamics. My background focuses heavily on how our early attachment styles and history shape how we show up today. If you’re looking for a space where you can drop the mask, be completely yourself, and feel genuinely heard, you are in the right place.

My approach to therapy

My style is warm, interactive, and collaborative. I don't sit in stone-faced silence or just nod and ask how everything makes you feel. Instead, I bring a mix of genuine empathy, humor, and gentle directness to our sessions. Together, we’ll look at the bigger picture—exploring your attachment patterns, noticing repetitive loops, and figuring out why you keep hitting the same walls. My goal is to help you connect the dots on why things hurt, while also giving you practical, everyday tools you can actually use after our session. We are a team in this.

What you can expect from me

The hardest part of therapy is often just taking that first step, so our first session is entirely about lowering the pressure. We’ll focus on creating a comfortable, zero-judgment space where you can just take a breath and exist. There’s no pressure to have your whole life story perfectly organized on day one. We’ll just have a natural conversation about what’s going on, what’s feeling heaviest right now, and what you hope your life can look like. By the time we finish, we’ll have a gentle, clear plan for our next steps so you leave feeling supported and hopeful.
