Great to meet you!

Hello and welcome to my page! I am Josh Sanchez, a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 6 years in the field of mental and behavioral health. In the past 6 years, I have helped individuals and families find support and resources within the community. I have provided family, group, and individual therapy sessions through my work at The Horsham Clinic and a private practice. I have supported individuals as young as 6 within their mental health journey. Recently, I have created a grief group to provide a safe space where individuals can feel seen, heard and understood. My goal is to provide support, guidance and encouragement to all of my clients.

Outside of work, you can catch me seeking out new adventures. I enjoy hiking, traveling, debating sports and especially watching my Philadelphia sports teams. I enjoy learning about and practicing spirituality. I enjoy providing astrology readings as well as tarot card readings.

I believe that experience is the best teacher, no matter how good or bad the experience is, it can be used as a learning experience to heal and grow.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is to first always build a safe environment where individuals feel comfortable to be themselves. Building rapport with my clients helps build safety. I utilized CBT, DBT, Attachment Therapy and Trauma-Informed care within my sessions. With that, we will work through the challenges that bring you to therapy, accomplish goals and ultimately begin to heal.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, you could expect questions on the different goals you would like to accomplish while in therapy. My goal is to create a safe environment where you feel free to share how you feel, work on healing and growing.
