Great to meet you!

As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and military veteran, I bring a compassionate, results-oriented approach to mental health care. My background includes six years as an ICU nurse, giving me extensive experience supporting individuals through high-stress and trauma-related situations. I work with patients experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, and trauma, including military and first responder-related challenges. My goal is to create a welcoming, supportive environment where patients feel heard, understood, and empowered in their treatment journey.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, goal-oriented, and focused on helping each patient achieve meaningful, lasting improvement in their mental health and overall quality of life. I believe in actively involving patients in treatment decisions and creating individualized care plans that align with their needs, values, and goals. I provide supportive, evidence-based care for individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma-related concerns, and other mental health challenges.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, clients can expect a supportive and nonjudgmental space where we focus on understanding the symptoms and concerns that brought them in. We will discuss personal history, family background, medical conditions, and what they hope to achieve through treatment. Together, we will begin setting clear, realistic goals and discuss a collaborative treatment plan that may include therapy and, if appropriate, medication management. My goal is to ensure clients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in every step of their care.
