Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing compassionate, collaborative therapy for adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, emotional overwhelm, relationship challenges, trauma, OCD, substance use concerns, bipolar disorder, chronic illness, and life transitions. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable being themselves while working toward meaningful change.

My approach blends evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, strengths-based interventions, and empowerment-focused therapy with a practical, person-centered style. I believe therapy should feel both validating and productive, helping clients better understand themselves while also building tools they can use in everyday life.

I work with clients on emotional regulation, self-esteem, communication, boundary setting, coping skills, stress management, and patterns that may be keeping them stuck or overwhelmed. I also have extensive experience supporting individuals coping with the emotional impact of chronic illness, ongoing medical conditions, caregiver stress, and the challenges that can come with balancing mental and physical health.

Whether someone is feeling burned out, disconnected, anxious, struggling with past trauma, or simply looking for support and growth, my goal is to help them feel more confident, grounded, and empowered moving forward.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and strength-based. I believe therapy works best when clients feel genuinely heard, supported, and safe enough to openly explore difficult emotions, experiences, and life challenges without judgment. I strive to create a balance between emotional processing and practical skill-building so sessions feel both validating and productive.

I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, empowerment-focused interventions, and strengths-based approaches while tailoring treatment to each client’s unique needs, goals, and lived experiences. Together, we work to better understand patterns that may be contributing to anxiety, depression, overwhelm, trauma responses, relationship difficulties, or unhealthy coping behaviors while developing practical tools for managing emotions, stress, and daily life challenges more effectively.

I also have extensive experience supporting individuals living with chronic illness, ongoing medical conditions, caregiver stress, and the emotional impact that physical health challenges can have on identity, relationships, and overall well-being. My goal is to help clients build resilience, increase self-awareness, strengthen coping skills, and feel more empowered and confident in navigating both emotional and life stressors.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a supportive, relaxed, and nonjudgmental environment during their first session. The initial appointment is an opportunity for us to get to know each other, discuss what brings you to therapy, and explore the challenges, stressors, or goals that are most important to you. I understand that starting therapy can feel uncomfortable or overwhelming, so I strive to create a space where clients feel heard, respected, and comfortable moving at their own pace.

During the first session, we will review relevant background information, current symptoms or concerns, coping patterns, supports, and any goals you may have for therapy. I will also answer questions about the therapeutic process and collaborate with you to begin identifying areas we can focus on together moving forward.

My approach is collaborative and individualized, meaning therapy is tailored to your unique needs and experiences. Clients can expect a balance of emotional support, practical coping strategies, and honest, compassionate conversation aimed at helping them feel more empowered, understood, and hopeful.
