Great to meet you!

Welcome! I'm a board-certified psychiatrist dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care for adults. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable discussing your concerns and working toward meaningful, lasting improvement.

I completed specialty training in psychiatry, followed by fellowship training in child and adolescent psychiatry, giving me a broad understanding of mental health across the lifespan. While my current practice focuses on adults, this additional training helps me appreciate how life experiences, family dynamics, and development can influence mental health.

I commonly treat depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and other mood and anxiety-related conditions. I believe that every patient deserves individualized care, and I take the time to understand your unique circumstances, goals, and preferences before developing a treatment plan together.

My approach to therapy

I believe the best psychiatric care is collaborative. My role is to listen carefully, provide thoughtful recommendations, and partner with you to develop a treatment plan that fits your goals and values.

Treatment may include medication management, education about your diagnosis, and practical evidence-based psychotherapy techniques incorporated into our visits, such as cognitive behavioral strategies, behavioral activation, motivational interviewing, and strength-based approaches. When appropriate, I also encourage healthy lifestyle habits and coordination with therapists, primary care physicians, and other members of your healthcare team.

My priority is to help you better understand your symptoms, make informed decisions about treatment, and build sustainable improvements in your mental health and overall quality of life.

What you can expect from me

Your first appointment is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a collaborative treatment plan. We'll spend time discussing your current concerns, symptoms, medical and mental health history, previous treatments, and what you hope to achieve through care.

My goal is to create a welcoming, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard and comfortable asking questions. Together, we'll develop an individualized treatment plan that may include medication management, education, and practical strategies to support your mental health. By the end of our first session, you'll have a clearer understanding of your symptoms, treatment options, and the next steps in your care.
