Great to meet you!

I bring 15+ years of experience working with those facing intimacy disorders and sex-related addictions. I also worked in organizational administration, community advocacy, chemical addiction treatment, and behavioral therapy for elder, marginalized, and neurodivergent populations.

Having navigated addiction and mental health challenges myself, I am driven to build dignity and empowerment in the narratives and identities of each individual. My dream job as a therapist enables me to equip clients in using their cultural, social, and individual paradigms to build a unique path of sobriety. Each person is the architect of their identity and development, and it is a privilege to build with them.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic “wheelhouse” includes mood disorder treatment, acute trauma with focus on veterans, survivors of sexual crimes, and those that have been incarcerated. My approach in counseling revolves around Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, I am "learning your language." We will go over some basics like confidentiality, but the focus will be on my experiencing and learning how you see your life, your identity, and the world so we can walk in that together.
