Great to meet you!

My path to counseling has been shaped by not only professional trainings, but lived experience, persistence, and a deep commitment to embodied healing. For over a decade i have studied and practiced mindfulness and meditation within zen Buddhist traditions, and trained as a kripalu yoga teacher.

My approach to therapy

My work is grounded in intersectional liberation, honoring how culture, identity, and power shape healing. I integrate DBT, IFS, psychodynamic therapy, EMDR, and Somatic Experiencing, alongside spiritual care and ritual practice. Together we compost trauma, build regulation and resilience, and support compassionate, embodied change in a collaborative way.

What you can expect from me

Our work begins with listening, understanding the quieter language of the body. Together we will practice noticing the subtle ways the nervous system speaks - an anticipatory tightening in the chest, the pull to shrink down and disappear, the breath that has been held for years below your lungs. Together we can approach these responses with curiosity, gentleness, and respect.
