Great to meet you!

I believe everyone deserves to have someone in their corner, especially during life's more challenging moments. With 12 years of experience in the mental health field, I have had the privilege of supporting individuals through a variety of life experiences, challenges, and transitions. I enjoy building genuine connections and helping people recognize that they don't have to have everything figured out to begin making changes. I believe progress doesn't have to be perfect to be meaningful. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable showing up as yourself, knowing you will be met with compassion, understanding, honesty, and encouragement. I believe in being supportive while also being willing to have the honest conversations that can help us grow. After all, sometimes having someone in your corner means having someone who will both listen and gently challenge you.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and tailored to each individual's needs. I draw from techniques in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing practical tools for everyday life. I believe in meeting clients where they are, recognizing their strengths, and balancing compassion with honest conversations and gentle challenges. My goal is to help you feel heard, build confidence, and make changes that carry beyond the therapy session.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel a little uncomfortable at first, and that's okay! Our first session is about getting comfortable, getting to know each other, and understanding what has brought you to this point. We'll talk about what's going well, what's been challenging, and what you would like to see change. You don't need to have all the answers or know exactly what to say. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and with a better idea of what we can work toward together.
