Great to meet you!

Greetings! I am a licensed clinical psychologist and native Brooklynite based in New York City. I earned my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the George Washington University School of Professional Psychology, and have over a decade of experience working with adults across the lifespan.

My clinical background includes extensive training in college and graduate counseling centers, as well as experience across a variety of settings, including hospitals, community care, and private practice.

My doctoral research and clinical focus centers on culture, identity, and the cross section between these factors and mental health.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in depth-oriented therapy that focuses on the underlying emotional and relational patterns that drive symptoms, not just the symptoms themselves.

My practice is psychodynamic and attachment-based, while integrating trauma-informed care and practical tools from CBT and DBT. I approach this work through an intersectional lens, recognizing that identity and systemic context shape our emotional lives as well. Together, we examine what truly belongs to you and what developed in response to the worlds you’ve had to navigate.

As a graduate of a performing arts high school and former dancer, creativity continues to shape my therapeutic approach. One unique aspect of my work is the integration of visual analogy and free association to help you make meaning of both long-standing and acute issues. I strive to create a warm, grounded environment where you feel safe enough to explore the deeper layers of your experience, and look forward to partnering with you through your process of healing.

What you can expect from me

We'll begin with a comprehensive conversation where I learn about your current concerns, personal history, relationships, and goals to understand the full context of what brings you to therapy. We will then assess whether working together feels aligned, supportive, and like a good relational match.
