Great to meet you!

I work with children, teens, and young adults who may be feeling overwhelmed, misunderstood, or unsure of themselves. I know it can be hard to open up, especially if you’re used to holding things in. I’ve seen how powerful it is when people feel truly heard and supported.

I currently support middle and high school students in a therapeutic school setting and continue to provide in home therapy and family-based therapy; as well as facilitate process groups for adolescents and parent support groups.

I focus on challenges on anxiety, mood changes, trauma, and self-esteem challenges- areas that can deeply impact how someone sees themselves and moves through the world.

I am bilingual in English and Spanish and value creating a culturally responsive and welcoming space. Therapy with me is collaborative — we move at your pace, but we also work toward real growth. You don’t have to have everything figured out to start. We’ll work through it together.

My approach to therapy

Therapy with me is real and practical. We’ll talk honestly about what’s going on, make sense of patterns, and build tools you can actually use outside of session. I integrate evidence-based strategies like CBT and DBT, however, I don’t believe therapy should feel like a lecture — it should feel relevant to your life.

I’ll support you, but I’ll also gently challenge you when needed. Growth isn’t about being perfect — it’s about becoming more aware, regulated, and confident in how you handle things

What you can expect from me

The first session is focused on you — your experiences, your goals, and what you’re hoping therapy will provide. I’ll want to understand what’s been challenging, but also what you expect from this process and what feels helpful (or unhelpful) to you.

Therapy is not one-size-fits-all. I pay close attention to your personality, communication style, and preferences so we can shape our work in a way that feels meaningful and effective. The therapeutic relationship is important to me, and building trust and clarity from the beginning matters.
