Great to meet you!

My name is Jossy, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am a proud first-generation immigrant from Peru, and growing up bicultural has shaped the way I see the world and support my clients. I have experience working with children, teens, and adults through a variety of life transitions. My clinical focus includes trauma, depression, family issues, and relationship struggles.

My approach to therapy

I believe in taking a positive and person-centered approach to therapy. You are the expert of your story, and it’s important to me that you feel safe, heard, and respected. I am here to listen, to understand your experiences, and to get to know you as a whole person. Together, we will navigate and explore your thoughts and feelings to help you gain clarity and insight. We will go at your own pace, and I will be here to support you every step of the way.

What you can expect from me

My clients often tell me they feel comfortable talking with me and that they feel truly seen. You can expect a warm, non-judgmental space where you feel supported and understood. In our first session, we will focus on building rapport, and get to know you and your story at your own pace. I never want you to feel like you have to share more than you’re ready for. I believe in creating a trust-based relationship where you feel safe exploring what’s important to you. My goal is for you to leave each session feeling more grounded, refreshed, and empowered.
