Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Josue Colon, a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 14 years of experience helping individuals navigate life's challenges and cultivate more balanced, fulfilling lives. I offer a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences at your own pace.

I earned my Master's Degree in Social Work from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico and have advanced training in evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness-based practices.

I specialize in working with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, life transitions, and self-esteem concerns. I'm especially passionate about supporting youth and young adults, working closely with clients ages 10 to 17 and those navigating early adulthood.

My therapeutic approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your unique needs. Whether you're looking for practical tools to manage stress or seeking deeper emotional insight and healing, I'm here to walk alongside you in your journey toward growth and empowerment.

Let's work together to help you feel more connected, confident, and grounded in your life.

My approach to therapy

I believe every person is an expert in their own life. My role is to support you with empathy, collaboration, and evidence-based strategies.

I use a client-centered approach that includes Motivational Interviewing, CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness. These methods help you build insight, strengthen motivation, and create meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

In our sessions, you can expect a warm, nonjudgmental, and collaborative space where your voice is valued and respected. My goal is to help you feel empowered, understood, and supported as you work toward meaningful change.

Together, we'll focus on building practical tools to manage emotions, improve relationships, increase self-awareness, and navigate life's challenges. Over time, you can expect to gain greater clarity, confidence, and a stronger connection to your values and strengths.

Whether you're working through something specific or just feeling stuck, our time together is about helping you move forward, at your own pace.
